For over six years now (since 2004), ecoSAVVY a small Townsville-based consultancy business has been providing sustainable housing related services to North Queenslanders who want to build, renovate or live more sustainably.

ecoSAVVY's goal has been to raise awareness of the benefits and promote the availablity of cost effective homes that are more suited to our (dry) tropical environment.  Homes that have reduced reliance on air-conditioning, lower electricity bills, efficient use of water, and enhanced biodiversity through increased use of local native plants. Homes that are more enjoyable and healthier to live in, that are more environmentally-friendly all round and that promote awareness and a sustainable way of living.
